Talemetry Desktop Tools - Review Page

Overview

The Talemetry Desktop Tools Review page is launched from the Desktop Tools (IE or Chrome) or the Email Import when the user processing a candidate decides they want to review the candidate data. A new browser tab is launched displaying this one-time review page for the recruiter. The recruiter is not logged into Talemetry, and once the review page is processed successfully, the URL cannot be used again.

Launch

The Desktop Tools review page is launched from one of the following places:


Review Page URL

When the Desktop Tools Review page URL is launched in a browser, and the user will see the following information:


  • The Classification area
    • Add to Folder

      • This allows the recruiter to choose one or more folders to which the candidate will belong after saving
      • Previously chosen values on the last candidate processed (by channel by user) will be shown on launch
      • Recruiter can type ahead to find the name of a folder
      • Recruiter can choose multiple
      • Recruiter can click on X on a folder to remove
      • Recruiter can click on "Clear" to remove all
    • Add to Job

      • This allows the recruiter to choose one or more jobs to which the candidate will belong after saving
      • Previously chosen values on the last candidate processed (by channel by user) will be shown on launch
      • Recruiter can type ahead to find the name of a job title or job external id
      • Recruiter can choose multiple
      • Recruiter can click on X on a job to remove
      • Recruiter can click on "Clear" to remove all
    • Tags

      • This allows the recruiter to choose one or more tags to add to the candidate after saving
      • Previously chosen values on the last candidate processed (by channel by user) will be shown on launch
      • Recruiter can type ahead to find the tag name. If tag enforcement is on for the company, the user must choose from a selected list otherwise they could choose their own tag.
      • Recruiter can choose multiple
      • Recruiter can click on X on a tag to remove
      • Recruiter can click on "Clear" to remove all
    • Note

      • The recruiter can add notes on the candidate after saving.
  • The Contact Area

    • This area shows the contact information that was extracted for this candidate
    • This area is all editable, and includes
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Address: Street, City, Country, State, Zip
      • Email
      • Mobile Phone
      • Other Phone (home or work)
      • Profile URL
  • The Profile Area
    • This area shows the extracted resume data for the profile being reviewed
    • Navigation area
      • Clicking on any of the quick links will scroll you to that section in the Profile, including Work History, Education History, Biography

      • Choose Source

        • Default source is the one that the user chose last when processing a resume via the channel (Desktop Tools, Email only)
        • Recruiter can type ahead to find a source in the drop down
    • Work History

      • The recruiter can see each of the work history records on the candidate's profile that were extracted. Each record may include
        • Company Name
        • Location
        • Date Range
        • Job Title
        • Years of Experience
        • Job Description text
      • Recruiter can edit these fields by clicking on the "edit" button when hovering over the work history record. Make changes and click Save to keep the changes.

      • Recruiter can delete this record when hovering over the work history record
      • Recruiter can add a new work history
    • Education History

      • The recruiter can see each of the education history records on the candidate's profile that were extracted. Each record may include
        • School
        • Location
        • Date Range
        • Degree
        • Major
      • Recruiter can edit these fields by clicking on the "edit" button when hovering over the education history record. Make changes and click Save to keep the changes.

      • Recruiter can delete this record when hovering over the education history record
      • Recruiter can add a new education history
    • Biography

      • The recruiter can see the Summary and the Objective that was extracted from the candidate's profile
      • Recruiter can add a new biography (if one doesn't exist) by clicking on the Add Biography button
      • Recruiter can edit a biography bu clicking on the Edit button

  • Actions
    • Save
      • Click the save button on the right to save the profile

      • After clicking save,

      • When save is complete, recruiter will see confirmation that the candidate is in Talemetry

      • The Public Profile will be shown on the user after confirmation. The resume text may also be shown (if Public Profile feature is on for the company)

      • NOTE: once a candidate profile is saved, no further editing is allowed in this URL. The URL may also not be relaunched, the user will see an error.

    • Close
      • Clicking on the browser close or X on the page will close the review page
      • The candidate will not be saved and will not be available in Talemetry
      • If the recruiter launches the same url again, they could continue the review process (since the candidate was not officially saved or cancelled)
